Abstract

The objective was to understand how gender appears related to 4 important decolonial analytical points, these being: the coloniality of being, knowledge, power and nature in life experiences of a group of MST women. 16 women from the São Joaquim Settlement, located in Teixeira Soares, in the state of Parana, Brazil, participated in the study, with whom 4 meetings were held. The analysis passes through two analytical lines: Knowledge that is shared: coloniality of knowledge and research with MST women; Gender coloniality: from care economy to partition. We conclude that, in addition to class, as a social difference marker, gender and knowledge were important elements when it comes to thinking about women's daily lives, in addition to being related to the other effects of coloniality, enabling an analysis of how modern colonial logic operates in women's daily lives in MST movement.
