Abstract

This article aims to analyze the formal labor market of young people (aged between 15 and 29 years old) allocated to the Brazilian agricultural sector, in the years 2010, 2019 and 2021. Methodologically, it uses tabular and descriptive analysis of data from the Annual List of Social Information (RAIS) from the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). The results show the growth in formal youth agricultural employment, led by women, in the 2019/2021 biennium. They are allocated, significantly, in the Southeast region, with complete secondary education and receiving up to two minimum periods. Although women have advanced to a higher level of qualification than men, they continue to receive advances and are marked by high turnover in the agricultural sector.
