VIOLÊNCIA SIMBÓLICA SOB PERSPECTIVA DE BOURDIEU: JOGO SOCIAL E POLÍTICO NA EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS

Abstract

When considering that in social organization such as Brazil's, political society - which represents the essence of the hegemonic class - has the right, obligation and supervision of educational legislation, it is to be assumed that this social segment represents and defends the greater interests of the dominant class. It is from this objective perspective that this article analyzes from Bourdieu's perspective and declares the invisibility of the subject under symbolic violence, in social and political fields, in the education of young people and adults. The bibliographic review is the state of knowledge, as qualitative methodological procedures in this article, which supported the writing and fostered the present research outlined in these pages. The final considerations argue that the aggravating factor of this process is that the State, in a veiled manner, taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of their rights regarding education as citizens, persuades them to tacitly accept the welfare condition of the “benefit” as an asset.
