Abstract

This article intends to analyze historically the film Crônica de um industrial (1978), by Luiz Rosemberg Filho. The film brings an important discussion about the feeling of political defeat of the left and explicitly dialogues with some vigenties debates in Brazil of the period, which mobilized concepts such as underdevelopment, developmentalism and economic dependence.
