This article seeks to analyze the importance of rural oral narratives as a representation of territory and subjectivity ─ it is a direct result of my master's research project. The objective of this study is to demonstrate that such narratives have a fundamental role in the analysis of subjectivity and territory within Literary Studies, mainly within Narratology, in addition, it is also the intention to demonstrate the relevance of such narratives, which are driven by affect, in order to ensure that these memories and memories are immortalized, so that, in contemporary society, they cannot be forgotten and neglected, thus acquiring their due value.
