Abstract

The Second World War produced mass expulsions and displacements across Europe, among thousands affected not only by the calamities, but also in search of a new home, under perspectives and conditions of vulnerability, the Ukrainians were especially affected, mainly in the context of the invasion of its territory by German troops. In view of this, we seek to better understand the condition of refugees in the world and their contemporary challenges, analyzing them from the perspective of the Ukrainian case.

    Doutorando em História pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). Mestre em História pela Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG) com bolsa CAPES. Graduado em Licenciatura História pela mesma Universidade. Foi bolsista do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação a Docência (PIBID) eixo História. Tem experiência na área de Ciências Humanas, com ênfase em História. Atualmente suas pesquisas giram em torno de processos de violência e conflitos do leste europeu, sobretudo relacionados a conjuntura ucraniana

    Doutor em História pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - UNISINOS. Atualmente realiza Estágio Pós-Doutoral em História na Universidade Federal do Paraná - UFPR com bolsa financiada pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, CAPES.
