The article analyzes how Chile, la memoria obstinada stages the persistence of recent memory in post-dictatorship Chile. It addresses the techniques through which montage articulates testimonies, archives, and collective experiences with different individuals. The film reveals cinema as an interdisciplinary space for memory work. It concludes that the film not only recovers a denied past but turns youth into active agents in its construction.
