The article dialogues Veena Das' contributions to the study of violence with narratives from victims of sexual harassment in schools. Initially, it presents the way in which Das understands the phenomenon of violence and, from then on, frames sexual harassment as something that makes up the life trajectory of victims. Discussions are also presented about the collective nature of this violence and the place of the victim. The writing ends by indicating mechanisms that facilitate a damage repair process.
