Narrativas do gulag, outras margens do arquipélago

Abstract

The article intends to understand, in a diachronic view, how the history of the gulag developed, initially passing through the testimonial literary narrative, later assuming the status of a specialized historiographical area of sovietology; finally, reaching new narrative possibilities as a relevant contemporary theme, with challenges to be faced in times of control of historical narratives.
