Résumé

O presente trabalho discute parte dos resultados de uma pesquisa que teve como objeto a expansão do ensino superior na região sudoeste do Paraná. Na investigação identificaram-se as interfaces entre as políticas institucionais das Instituições de Ensino Superior e as diretrizes legais; a gênese e a configuração das políticas institucionais; e os modos pelos quais as mesmas se refletem nas práticas pedagógicas cotidianas. O artigo foca,mais especificamente a questão das políticas institucionais de formação docente e seus reflexos nas práticas pedagógicas.Conclui argumentando que o modo concreto como os processos de formação docente estão estruturados nas instituições investigadas repercute no estatuto educativo-pedagógico da docência e na construção das culturas pedagógicas, dos valores, das crenças e das práticas vivenciadas pelos seus professores.

Thiswork discusses some outcomes of a studywhich investigated the expansion of higher education in the southwest of Paraná, Brazil. The study identied a number of issues such as: the interfaces between the institutional policies for Higher Education Institutions and the legal guidelines, the genesis and the institutional policies conguration and how these are reected in daily pedagogical practices. This article focuses, more speci cally, on the issue of teacher education institutional policies and their impact upon pedagogical practices. The conclusion argues that teacher education processes structured in the institutions addressed echo the pedagogical-educative teaching statute and the construction of the pedagogical cultures, values, beliefs and practices experienced by their professors.
