Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the scientific production related to the Program of Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Mode of Education of Young and Adults (PROEJA in Brazilian Portuguese acronym), presented at the National Meetings of the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education (ANPEd), in the period between 2007 and 2017. The intention was stimulating the focus of analysis of these researches, as well as the possible contributions and limits of the Program, enabling subsidies and provocations for future works. Bibliographical research was used with qualitative-quantitative publications. There is considerable concern among researchers to investigate the process of integrating vocational education with basic education in youth and adult education. However, it was noticed the need to develop research that problematizes the social impacts of PROEJA, as well as the directions to be taken after approval of Law 13.415/2017 that modifies the High School in Brazil.

  • André Rodrigues Guimarães, Federal University of Amapá
    Doutor em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2014), Mestre em Desenvolvimento Regional pela Universidade Federal do Amapá (2008) e Licenciado em Pedagogia pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2003). Atualmente é Professor Adjunto II da Universidade Federal do Amapá. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Políticas Educacionais, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: expansão e financiamento da educação superior, trabalho docente, função social da escolarização, neoliberalismo e reformas educacionais.
