Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present current advances, opportunities, perspectives and options for additive manufacturing applied in manufacture of human food and meals. An introduction to techniques, machines, and types of foods being produced via 3D printing technique. In addition to a brief overview of what food construction could be like using additive manufacturing in near future. How to build balanced and nutritious, tasty and attractive meals on a daily basis, as well as how to make a food for people who are in remote places, with allergies, chronic diseases or even under medical treatment.
