Abstract

For composition budgets, it is important to have tools that allow access to input costs easily and quickly. Such as SINAPI (National System for Survey of Civil Construction Costs and Indexes) which seeks to disclose the prices of compositions and information for the entire population. It is a public tool that has national coverage, and presents the costs for each Brazilian state, with price research carried out in its capitals. However, it is necessary to study the budget of a work with local costs where it will be implemented in the project, not located in the metropolitan region, comparing with the costs that are provided by SINAPI. Therefore, this paper compares three cost budgets for a project in certain periods from 2020 to 2021. The purpose of this article is to compare the costs of the work before and during a COVID-19 pandemic, and identify their divergences in relation to the rates SINAPI and the local market. For an analysis, a case study was approached, a single-family residence located in the city of Piripiri-PI, with an average standard of 150.00 m². Bulletins studies were conducted using the PFUI spreadsheet budget based on 2020 SINAPI, then comparing it with the local research budget for this same work and later updating the first budget with 2021 SINAPI. divergences, mainly caused by input price variations during a pandemic.
