MODELO MATEMÁTICO MULTIVARIADO PARA DETERMINAÇÃO DOS MODOS DE FALHA DE UM SISTEMA DINÂMICO
MULTIVARIATE MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR DETERMINING THE FAILURE MODES OF A DYNAMIC SYSTEM
Abstract
The theory of Dynamical Systems has its origins in the study of mathematical models that describe the evolution of a physical system. The aim of the theoretical study of dynamical systems is to predict the future or explain the past in a scientific way. This requires knowing how things are and understanding the rules that govern the changes that will occur. In this article, it is intended to show that a concrete block of a highly instrumented dam can be treated as a dynamic system, revealing through mathematical and statistical methods, the relationships between the instruments installed in this block that can be verified by their collected readings and carefully stored in a database. In this context, a multivariate statistical method was applied to define a multivariate performance function capable of diagnosing the safety conditions of the block chosen for this study.
