Abstract

The imposition of curriculum and educational guidelines in formal Brazilian School, which content approaches are linked to market interests, based on the assumption of the homogenization of reality and the concealment of several social markers, including gender. Based on the analysis of the BNCC's World of Work axis in the geography component for the final years of Elementary School, we did this discussion about reproductive labor, imposed on women in capitalism, and teaching. We expect to highlight the spatiality of reproductive labor, its recognition being important in the geography teaching for the formation of critical students and with possibilities of reading the world less guided by the ideology of capital.
