Abstract

Interview with teacher Ana Maria Rufino Gillies. She holds a degree (1999) from the Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná – UTP, and a master's (2002) and doctorate (2010) in History, carried out by the Federal University of Paraná - UFPR. Currently, Dr. Ana Maria is a professor in the postgraduate program of Masters in History at the State University of the Midwest (UNICENTRO) and also in the Collegiate of Visual Arts at FAP/Campus II, Curitiba at the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR) . During our interview, we addressed some important issues in the professor's academic trajectory, such as her thesis “The diary of a British immigrant in Paraná (1860-1890): Memories, work and sociability”, a prominent milestone in her research.
