Revista CEIbero rejects all forms of plagiarism e considers an act of plagiarism as:

Declaration of Ethical Editorial Principles

ETHICAL BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS THAT GOVERN THE EDITORIAL ACTIVITY OF THE CEIbero JOURNAL

FOR AUTHORS:

Accuracy of text, data and sources:

Submitted texts must present precise and objective language and adhere to the grammatical rules of the language. The sources used and the organization of data must be explained clearly and coherently.

Originality and Plagiarism:

Authors must certify that their works are entirely original, and if the authors used the work and/or words of other authors, these must have been duly cited. Any form of plagiarism constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Multiple, redundant or competing publications:

An author must not publish manuscripts that describe essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. When submitting a manuscript to a journal, a group of professionals is mobilized to evaluate that work. We consider it an unethical practice to simultaneously submit the same manuscript to another journal(s), as well as to publish the same article in different journals, both practices being unacceptable.

Acknowledgement of Sources:

It is essential to adequately acknowledge the work done by other people. Authors should always cite publications that in some way influenced the performance of the reported work. Any information or data obtained in a confidential or private manner, whether in conversation, correspondence or discussion with third parties, may not be published without explicit and signed authorization from the source. Likewise, any information in the course of confidential services may only be used with explicit permission signed by the author of the work involved in such services.

Authorship of the Article:

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution or interpretation of the reported study. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors actually participated in the research and writing of the text, and that the submission of the final version for publication was agreed upon by all.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest:

Whenever there is any financial or other conflict of interest that could be considered to have influenced the analyses and/or results of the work, this must be disclosed in the manuscript. All sources of funding for the development of the research must be disclosed.

Errors in published works:

If the author discovers an error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work that compromises the result, it is his/her obligation to immediately notify the editor of the journal and request the retraction or correction of the article.

FROM THE EDITORS:

Publication decision:

Based on the focus and scope of the journal, it is up to the editor to decide which of the articles submitted to the journal should be evaluated and published. The editor's actions are based on strict observance of the legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editor may also consult the editorial board in making decisions.

Fair Rules:

It is the editor's responsibility to exclusively evaluate the intellectual content of the submitted manuscript, without any distinction of race, sex, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, nationality or political and ideological values of the authors.

Confidentiality:

The editor and any person on the editorial team are prohibited from disclosing any information about a submitted manuscript, with the exception of the author himself, reviewers, potential collaborators, other editorial advisors, and the publisher, as applicable.

Disclosure and conflicts of interest:

The editor must not appropriate, for his own benefit, information that has not been published without the express written consent of the author. The editor must refrain from evaluating manuscripts in which there is any conflict of interest, professional or personal, with any of the authors, companies and/or institutions that are linked to the articles.

Participation and cooperation in investigations:

It is the editor's responsibility to take reasonable assessment and response measures when ethical complaints are presented in relation to a submitted manuscript or published article.

REVIEWERS:

Contribution to the Editorial Decision:

Editorial decision-making is based on peer review, which aims to help the author improve the article.

Punctuality:

If the designated reviewer does not feel qualified to evaluate the research reported in a manuscript or knows that he/she will not be able to deliver the review within the stipulated deadline, he/she must notify the editor and request his/her withdrawal from the evaluation process.

Confidentiality:

All manuscripts received for evaluation must be treated as confidential documents, and must not be shown or discussed with others.

Objectivity standards:

Reviews must be conducted in a clear, objective and respectful manner, always based on scientific criteria.

Source Acknowledgement:

Reviewers must suggest relevant publications that have not been cited by the authors. The reviewer must also alert the editor to any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under evaluation and any other published document of which he/she has personal knowledge.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest:

Ideas, information, and data obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and may not be used for personal gain. Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest resulting from competitive or collaborative relationships or any other type of ties with any of the authors, companies, and/or institutions that have a connection with the work.
