Abstract

This text presents a critical reflection on the archives of school violence as a philosophical and psychoanalytical problem. Using Derrida’s expression “archive fever” as a starting point, it discusses teaching movements against the school violence issue. From a research experience, teachers’ opinions about the difficulties they face in the school context in relation to violence are presented. Based on the deconstructive hermeneutics, the text understands the school as a space for confronting stereotypes, prejudices and ghosts about violence, facilitating coexistence with differences. It is concluded that there is a need to think of the school archive as a “deconstructionist canvas”, capable of breaking with individualism and indifference towards the other.

Keywords: Archive fever. Philosophy of Education. School violence.
