Inspirado em conceitos lacanianos colhidos na teoria textual de Barthes, Murilo Mendes tenta descrever a diferença textual em contraste tanto com a universalidade dos esquemas de classificação geral, quanto com os esforços por isolar uma pura particularidade que entraria em contradição com a própria natureza da teoria do texto.

Inspired by Lacanian concepts caught in Barthes´s theory of text, Murilo Mendes strives to describe the difference of the text in constrast both to the universality of schemes of generic classification and to the attempt to specify a pure particularity which would contradict the nature of textuality.
