NATUREZA RETÓRICA DAS EXPRESSÕES REFERENCIAIS NOMINAIS

Este artigo propõe incluir, sob o ponto de vista retórico, a referência em duas categorias: indicativa e descritiva. Considerando que as teorias da argumentação mais recentes focalizam sua atenção no léxico como mecanismo de encadeamento discursivo e, por isso, de persuasão, o sentido das palavras que compõem as expressões referenciais descritivas é determinante na organização retórica do discurso.

This paper proposes to include, from a rhetoric point of view, the reference into two categories: indicative and descriptive. Considering that, most recently, the core of the theories of argumentation is the lexicon as a mechanism of speech connection and therefore, of persuasion, the sense of the words that composes the descriptive referential expressions is fundamental on the rhetoric organization of the discourse.
