A MÚSICA POPULAR BRASILEIRA NO ESPAÇO ESCOLAR: AS CANÇÕES ATRAVÉS DOS TEMPOS NAS REPRESENTAÇÕES DE PROFESSORES E ADOLESCENTES

O artigo descreve um projeto de música popular brasileira ocorrido num colégio público municipal de Volta Redonda. O projeto originou-se dos ideais de um grupo de alunos e professores, que mobilizou a comunidade educacional –alunos, professores de todas as disci-plinas, direção, pedagogos, funcionários e pais. Ressalta-se a ampla participação dos atores educacionais ao longo do desenvolvimento do projeto que culminava com um grande festival de MPB. Valem destacar as representações dos educandos, manifestando a construção dos referenciais culturais provenientes de diferentes movimentos, espaços, tempos, ritmos, melodias e rimas poéticas presentes no rico universo da música popular brasileira.

The article describes a project of the Brazilian popular music that occurred at a public district school in Volta Redonda, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The project has been originated based on the ideas of a group of students and teachers, that mobilized the educational community – students, teachers from all types of subjects, directorship, pedagogues, officials and parents. Stands out the vast participation of the educational actors along the development of the project that culminates on a big festival of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music). It is important to mention, the representation of the students, demonstrating the construction of the cultural references that comes from different movements, spaces, time, rhythms, melodies and poetic rhyme present in the rich universe of the Brazilian Popular Music.
