O Futurismo Italiano é o mais relevante movimento de vanguarda da Itália. Sua repercussão extrapola as fronteiras italianas e européias, chegando ao Brasil em 1912 por iniciativa de Oswald de Andrade. Assim, neste artigo, procura-se investigar aspectos da relação deste movimento com a tradição literária francesa e italiana que lhe é imediatamente anterior, bem como sua chegada ao Brasil e as polêmicas daí decorrentes.

Italian Futurism is the most important avant-garde movement of Italy. It’s resound exceeds Italian and European borders, and arrives in Brazil in 1912 by the work of Oswald de Andrade. This essay aims to inquire some aspects of the dialogue between Italian Futurism and the previous French and Italian literature tradition and also it’s arrival in Brazil and it’s consequences.
