Apresentamos, em um primeiro momento, reflexões sobre o fazer científico, a partir de leituras realizadas sobre a polêmica formalismo vs funcionalismo. A seguir, apresentamos, através de alguns trabalhos, a viabilidade de diálogo entre modelos científicos diferentes.

We present, in a first moment, reflections about the scientific activity starting from readings about the polemic formalism vs functionalism. We proceed presenting hypothesis of a dialogue viability among different scientific models.
