CARLOS DRUMMOND DE ANDRADE E VINÍCIUS DE MORAES: UMA COMPARAÇÃO

Com base em pesquisa bibliográfica e observação empírica, o presente estudo pretende destacar, em termos da obra poética, algumas das diferenças e semelhanças entre Drummond e Vinícius. Os seguintes ítens servem de orientação: Modernismo e Concretismo (ruptura ou continuidade; comunicação rápida através do plano sintáticovisual); aspectos da trajetória, destacando algumas das preocupações temáticas recorrentes (lírica, o eu e o comprometimento social). Conclui-se com reflexões sobre a vida e a morte, com base em dois poemas dedicados a Mário de Andrade.

By means of bibliographical research and empirical observation, the present study tries to point out some of the similarities and differences in the poetical works of Carlos Drummond de Andrade and Vinícius de Moraes. The following items guide the discussion: Modernism and Concretism (rupture or continuity; rapid communication on the synthetic-visual level); the long and winding road, along which recurrent thematic categories are stressed starting from the threefold relationship (lyricism, the “I”and social commitment). The study concludes with an analysis of two poems dedicated to Mário de Andrade which allows for reflections on life and death.
