O propósito deste trabalho é analisar no romance Lavoura Arcaica (1975), de Raduan Nassar, a configuração do espaço e do tempo, bem como a relação que tais elementos cultivam com a estética psicológica do narrador-personagem. Para tanto nos fundamentaremos, sobretudo, em autores como Gaston Bachelard, Poética do espaço (2000), e Jean Pouillon, O tempo no romance (1974).
