Reflexos de um cotidiano: Utilização da língua portuguesa pelos descendentes italianos

Apresenta uma breve explanação de como o dialeto italiano foi sendo excluído da oralidade entre seus descendentes baseando-se em depoimentos relatados no Museu da Pessoa. Com o objetivo de mantermos nossa memória social, busca nestes relatos orais, de pessoas comuns, algumas das razões para o abandono da língua na breve história desta colonização em nosso país. Essa língua utilizada, no caso dos imigrantes italianos era tratada como um dialeto e permanece viva em nossa comunidade, especialmente nos meios rurais e entre pessoas de idade avançada. Relaciona o ato da mudança linguística na comunidade de descendentes com os fatos relacionados a história mundial, dentre eles as Guerras Mundiais e a influência das leis, ordens e políticas advindas destas.
