Resumo: Trabalhamos, neste ensaio, a questão pragmática do “nome próprio de autor”, atravessando alguns autores que focalizaram mais diretamente o tema. Propomos um estudo das diferenças de abordagem de Michel Foucault e suas inovações relativas tanto ao contexto das problemáticas efetivas do funcionamento do nome próprio, quanto ao próprio modo de falar com a qual ele, decididamente, articulava suas ideias.
