This study investigated the literature from 2010 to 2020 to verify whether participants of the Open University for Senior Citizens (UNATI, in the Portuguese acronym) relate physical activity to quality of life. The research methodology included a systematic search in 11 databases with the DeCS/MeSH descriptors for quality of life and physical activity in addition to the keyword UNATI in Portuguese and its equivalents in English and Spanish. The search found 4719 studies, 11 of these articles were considered for the final analysis. Among the studies reviewed, two are in the form of interventions and nine cross-sectional studies. In all studies, physical activity was related to high quality of life according to the participants of Open University for Senior Citizens. It was possible to identify in the literature direct benefits of physical activity for a positive perception of quality of life by the participants of the Open University for Senior Citizens.
