Abstract

This research aimed to characterize the public served and the actions developed by the Patronato in the District of Irati-Paraná from 2013 to 2018. The study was carried out through descriptive and documental research, having as primary source the information collected in the records of those assisted by the Patronato. The results indicated a predominance of white, young men, in stable union, with low education and income below 2,000.00 reais. We observed an increase in the number of people assisted and the offer of actions during the period under analysis, with emphasis on the referral to community service and the offer of reflective groups. In the discussion, we sought to expand the understanding of these characteristics and their impact on action planning. Finally, our results confirmed the importance of promoting services and projects to accompany criminal alternatives, from a resocialization perspective and in line with human rights.
