The hospital Dr. Lucio Molas is the most complex public health institution at La Pampa (Argentina). Most of the employees in administrative functions had not completed the secondary education level, which is an obstacle to institutional functioning. Developing this in-service training project was proposed as a general aim at favoring better organizational communication in the administration area. Support was provided by the authorities of the Ministries of Health and Education, which encouraged the participation of the UNLPam Social Communication Career. As a result, during the five years of the Program, seven women completed high school and employees positively evaluated the ICT training for their lives and for the achievements in their work. It is concluded that there are still cultural barriers in the institutional organization that must be modified to increase the employee numbers who complete the high school level.
