Actions for scientific dissemination and popularization bring scientific knowledge to society in language and didactic content for the public, constituting a link between academia and society. The objective of the Extension Project “Movimenta Ciência” was to promote actions for the scientific dissemination and popularization of Physical Education and Sport. The social media channels used for scientific dissemination were Instagram and Youtube. The actions were developed in 3 phases: Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. Instagram has 331 followers and 550 accounts were reached. The YouTube channel has 36 subscribers, 8 videos were produced with an average of 20 views each. Through the proposals made for scientific dissemination, it was possible to disseminate research and extension projects developed in the university and establish relationships with other academic groups. The communicative material produces permanent content that can be accessed anytime.
