This article describes sports and leisure modalities proposed as extension activities carried out with adolescents in conflict with the law by students attending the Physical Education undergraduate course at the State University of Mato Grosso. The activities of the extension project “Sport and Leisure at CASE” took place at the Socio-Educational Care Center of Cáceres/MT through the development of sports and leisure practices. The subjects involved were ten (10) adolescents in detention, on a voluntary basis. It is outstanding the relevance that higher education institutions develop extension activities in Social-Educational Care Centers, considering that these can help adolescents reduce anxiety and stress as well as nurture and reinforce compliance with rules, tolerance and discipline as a condition for carrying out daily activities, since sports and leisure appear as an important strategic axis within the Pedagogical Parameters of Social-Educational Actions.
