DANÇA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: DESVELANDO A ARTE E A LUDICIDADE NO CORPO

This study aimed to educate to and for the dance children in early childhood education through weekly workshops of dancing that worked their specific content in a ludic manner. Two dance shows were also made with the participants as performer-creators. The extension action was developed through one year in four kindergarten institutions in Viçosa, MG. In this report we present obtained results from participant observation and oral questionnaires with 103 children from 02 to 08 years old. The extension action confirmed itself as an important ally of expanding artistic knowledge in dancing in a ludic manner and beyond what is divulged by the cultural industry.
