Abstract

This article describes the resulted process of the first Visual Arts Exposition totally prepared to blind people, held in Ponta Grossa, from the Seeing is Believing, Touching is Seeing, what named the exposition. Since the art is the main instrument of social inclusion, this exhibition made available for these people a right exercising space and a perspective of improving the quality of life. Seeing is Believing, Touching is Seeing Project had, as one of its main guidelines, research on color and form uses to produce tactile art, providing total condition to a blind person have an art appreciation and enjoyment .
