Abstract

Through the potential offered by the outreach process, an educational game that allows students to integrate language skills, teamwork, information seeking and positive transformation of attitudes and behavior was developed. This work was monitored employing the participant observation method; questions and instructions to the game were developed, and relevant literature survey was carried out. Participatory results, levels of motivation and students’ acceptance revealed that this educational game caters to participants’ needs and interests, provides teachers with innovative materials and methods that systematically lead to self-improvement, consequently increasing general culture in the university community and the strengthening of values as a result of this process of teaching and learning.
