This article describes a new phase of the outreach project "ESDI: Janelas Abertas” that started in 2015 and was marked by greater student participation in the planning and implementation of the activities. These included the event dissemination strategies, exhibition of students´ work, the organization of the traditional guided tour in the building of the Superior School of Industrial Design (ESDI, in the Portuguese acronym) in addition to the creation of the visual identity for the project and the search for partnerships and expansion plans for the event. The aim of describing this process in a journal of wide circulation is to report the decision-making and working methods in the mentioned project, which is coordinated mainly by undergraduate students. The project contributes to a technical basis for new student projects. Among the main results of the proposed plan is the strengthening of students´ identification with the outreach project, the organization of a database, as well as experiences and procedures for new editions of “ESDI: Janelas Abertas”.References
