The university mission has always been aligned with the three pillars: teaching, research and extension, however, the consolidation and materiality of this third pillar is now supported by CNE Resolution No. 7 (Brazil, 2018) which establishes the Guidelines for Extension in Brazilian Higher Education and guides its mandatory inclusion in the curricula of Higher Education courses, an ongoing action. The EduCine project integrates the extension curricularization within the scope of initial training in Pedagogy, using cinema as a teaching resource for social insertion, with the aim of developing orality and attitudinal principles in the overall training of participants. Thus, its implementation reached eight municipalities in the Northwest region of Paraná, seventeen schools, 593 participants, 567 children and 26 education professionals, including directors, coordinators and teachers. Thus, the project's action had a formative contribution and the socio-educational dynamics that we will focus on reporting and highlighting in this article.
