Abstract

The article addresses the configuration of editorials in webjournalism, focusing on the agenda-setting and the organization of information in the web context. Then, it presents the analysis of the data from two news portals, one of local scope, the other of regional scope: Noroeste Online, RS, and 180graus, PI, in three months of 2019. The editorials prioritized by the vehicles are, respectively, Highlights and Police . The survey reveals 180graus' loyalty to its editorial principles, focused on the issue of public security. In the case of Noroeste Online, focused on the local and state reality, there is a detachment between the editorials and the target audience. The interpretation built from data analysis highlights the role of editorials in webjournalism: organizing events in line with the scope and editorial line of the vehicles, alongside the resources of the web platform.
