Resumo

O presente texto foi inicialmente elaborado como requisito parcial ao Concurso Público para professor adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa/PR, no Departamento de Educação, Área de Filosoa. Não se pretende, portanto, fazer uma análise profunda do tema que aborda. Sua contribuição é oferecer uma ferramenta introdutória aos que desejam aprofundar o tema.Apresenta uma análise do tema epistemologia e educação situando historicamente os conceitos. Distingue a concepção burguesa e revolucionária de educação relacionando-as aos respectivos paradigmas epistemológicos. Conclui rearmando a necessidade e a pertinência da epistemologia marxista e da pedagogia histórico-crítica para uma proposta educacional alternativa à proposta burguesa.

This article was initially written as a partial requisite for the entrance exam for associate professors at the Ponta Grossa State University, PR, Department of Education in the Area of Philosophy. Therefore, it is not our intention to present a thorough analysis of the topic under discussion. The article offers an introduction to those who wish to expand the subject. It presents an analysis of epistemology and education by contextualizing the concepts historically. It distinguishes the bourgeois and revolutionary conception of education relating them to the respective epistemological paradigms. It concludes reaflerming the need and the relevance of theMarxist epistemology, and the historical-critical pedagogy as alternative for the bourgeois proposal.
