This is a transversal descriptive exploratory study aiming to present the situational diagnosis of child labor in the municipalities assisted by the Health 5th Regional Office in the State of Paraná. This study was developed in the university extension project Ações de Combate e Erradicação do Trabalho Infantil nos Municípios da 5ª Regional de Saúde do Estado do Paraná (Actions to fight and eradicate child work in the municipalities of the Health 5th Regional Office in the State of Paraná) and proposed the implementation of a network to fight and eradicate child work in the region. Data was collected in three moments: 1) access to the Information System for notifiable diseases; 2) analysis of municipal health insurances, and 3) research on the perception of managers and social actors. Our results led to the conclusion that the theme is still incipient in the health service, it is negligenced in the health agenda, but at the same time, it is noticed by the actors that are directly involved with this issue.
