Abstract

This paper reports the development of the university outreach project entitled Culture of Peace and Non-Violence at School. It discusses social service contributions to the fight against bullying based on the experiences of elementary school students in a state public school in Roraima, extreme north of Brazil. The project was held in 2019 and assisted over 300 students aged 12 to 15, divided into 10 classes. The results pointed out increased access to information on bullying, violence and the rights of children and adolescents contained in the Child and Adolescent Statute – ECA, promotion of a better dialogue between students and the school team, and identification of the local child and adolescent protection network.
