In view of the current pandemic context, this research aimed to raise the perception of the population of Bauru and region about the measures to prevent and combat Covid-19 adopted by public authorities (federal, state and local). This is an exploratory quantitative study, carried out through bibliographic analysis about the subject, and a survey of public opinion applied through a questionnaire made available on Google Forms. The study was carried out in the first half of 2021 by the Datalab extension project of the Unisagrado institution. With this research, it was possible to verify that the majority of the participants were dissatisfied with the containment measures applied by the Brazilian public authorities in relation to Covid-19. In conclusion, most of the participants exposed that health measures such as mass vaccination, safety protocols and policy measures are the safest and most effective containment initiatives in the fight against the pandemic.
