Technological advances can help in several areas of study, including in teaching and learning processes. Given that many people are immersed in the information age, this paper aims to report an extension action carried out at the event V Knowing the Brain, at the State University of Northern Paraná to popularize technological knowledge with a focus on machine learning. The target audience was children and teenagers. The present stand presented activities related to the behavior of human neural networks and the similarities with a computational neural network, aiming to explain its origin and purpose. For this, the stand had a demonstration of games, a conversation with the target audience with a lot of interaction between exhibitors and visitors. As a result, it can be seen that the topic of Artificial Intelligence, despite being complex, can be worked with children and young people since they showed interest, asked many questions, and interacted with the exhibitors.
