ATENÇÃO E CUIDADO PARA MULHERES MÃES ACOMPANHANTES DE BEBÊS PREMATUROS: A ATUAÇÃO DO PROJETO DE EXTENSÃO “HUMANIZAÇÃO”

The project “Humanization: support, entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment group for parents of premature babies'' developed by teachers and students of psychology and phonoaudiology graduations courses of Midwestern Paraná State University (UNICENTRO), with the aim of providing embracing space, active listening, leisure time and opportunities to women mothers accompanying their hospitalized babies in the NICU. The main focus of the study is discussing the developed actions with those attending women mothers of the project Humanization, presenting the action’s potentialities both for the women mothers and the team members. The developed activities were able to provide well-being, autonomy, relaxing time, leisure time, active listening, and embracing space for the women mother accompanying their babies, as well as meaningful contributions for the team members academy development, providing possibilities of practical experiences in the health area.
