Abstract

The article presents the results of the extension project “Pandemic Letters: the report and exchange of experiences during the current crisis as a way of solidarity”. It consisted in the anonymous exchange of more than two hundred correspondences between sympathetic senders and recipients in mid of 2020 and 2021, distincts moments of the Covid-19 Pandemic, during virtual courses offered by Rede Emancipa de Educação Popular. The letters reflect the context of the pandemic ailments, marked by viral contamination, discouragement to the social isolation, generalized lack of support network and precariousness of public politics that constituted necropolitical devices used by the far-right government. The correspondences catalog “live-writing” acts (freely translated concept of C. Evaristo) and resources of listening, communication, sociability and complementary cares to therapeutic measures.  Thus, build a living social memory in support of narratives of historical consciousness, from critical reports, in dissonance to official denialist speeches.
