The advancement of digital social networks has transformed social interactions and enabled new practices of reading and knowledge dissemination. Within this context, Instagram stands out for its emphasis on visual communication and frequent use among adolescents. This study aimed to present the use of Instagram as an educational technology in sexual and reproductive health for school adolescents. A longitudinal qualitative intervention was conducted in the second semester of 2023 with 50 first-year high school students from a state school in the countryside of Ceará, Brazil. The profile @proj.saudesexualnaadolescencia was created, featuring interactive publications over seven weeks on sexual and reproductive health. In total, 45 posts, 18 polls, 171 stories, four reels, and a final live session were produced, generating 599 comments. Findings indicate that Instagram proved to be an effective learning environment, demonstrating strong engagement and positive pedagogical outcomes.
