UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE PONTA GROSSA TAKES PART IN RONDON PROJECT PROMOTING HEALTH, CITIZENSHIP AND HEALTH IN THE STATE OF GOIAS

This report outlines the participation and the actions carried out by Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG) at Projeto Rondon in Mimoso de Goiás, Goiás. Projeto Rondon is a project conducted by Defence Ministry and Education Ministry. UEPG took part in this project in order to promote health, citizenship and culture. The use of Rapid Estimation Method provided opportunity to talk with local people about their problems. It also enabled to develop actions in consonance with their own expectations through workshops on Art, Environment, Health, Popular Movies as well as holding a Collective Civil Wedding. Projeto Rondon roused civism awareness of students and teachers as well commitment with changes in Brazil. The activities contributed to strengthen the community and to stimulate them to build new scenery for economical, political and social development.Downloads
