Abstract

The integration of graduate students in professional practices is a prerogative of the university course, establishing a primacy of applied and utilitarian knowledge as a qualifier for learning. From the report of a consultancy performed in a junior enterprise, this study aims to discuss the potential of the learning offered to the students along its insertion in an organization like this, pointing out the structure peculiarities and its functioning. The instruments used for the development of the consultancy were participant observations, interviews and research of documents and manuals. The perspective of a genuine enrollment of the student, as a result of his/her own choice of insertion into the labor market, and the path for formation, point out valuable practice towards the implication of this student as protagonist of its professional history. Nevertheless, the challenges presented by the work world are already present on such practice, leading to greater challenges provided by the student-professional double dimension which is already present in their actions.
