THE USE OF ALCOHOL AND DRUGS DURING TEENAGE YEARS: USING LUDIC IN ORDER TO PROMOTE REFLEXIONS AND DISCUSSIONS IN THE NURSING AREA

The complexity to promote adolescent health and development demands family participation, health professionals, society and state taking part in the process of developing actions for it. Believing that ludic activities are the most effective way to establish contact with teenager, a project was created in order to discuss risky behavior and healthy attitudes in adolescence, which encourages participants to think critically about causes and effects. The subjects were adolescents in the ninth year of elementary education at a public school. It was created an educational environment that allowed important discussions and systematic reflections on the results. In the considerations it is evident that the project has not only transmitted information but it conducted to reflection on issues that promote changes in concepts and behaviors and as well as the importance of ludic activities to awaken teenagers’ interested in discussing issues related to health-disease in this phase of their live.Downloads
