ELABORATION OF DIDACTIC STORIES AND USE OF OTHER STRATEGIES FOR EDUCATION IN THE MEDICINES RATIONAL USE TO CHILDREN OF PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

El objetivo del presente trabajo radica en narrar nuestro accionar en la enseñanza del Uso Racional de los Medicamentos, enmarcadas en sucesivos Proyectos de extensión, mediante distintas actividades participativas destinadas a niños de 3-12 años. Se emplean los cuentos propios “La gran aventura” y “Las aventuras de Caramelín y Capsulín”, una charla educativa y los juegos “Carrera de postas” y “Sopa de letras” adaptados a la temática. Por medio de estos métodos educativos se aprovecha la vitalidad de los niños, favoreciendo su participación y mejorando el proceso de aprendizaje. La formación se basa en aportar herramientas para que los niños no confundan los medicamentos con golosinas, en desalentar la práctica de la automedicación, fomentar la consulta al médico y asociar la adquisición de los medicamentos con la oficina de farmacia. Todas las actividades reflejan un gran atractivo, resultando en un gran apego de los niños a las consignas planteadas.
